History write up on the Titanic

The titanic hitting the ice was terrible but even more tragically more lives could have been saved if the captain would have thought but also there wasn’t enough awareness on aboard.

We sat in an outline of one of the main lifeboats we found out that 59 was what we could but the amount actually (if they squished) would have been 65.

A lifeboat – 65
An emergency lifeboat- 30
A collapsible boat- 47

We then worked out that there were…

Lifeboats- 14
Emergency lifeboats-2
Collapsible boats- 4

In total if they had been full 1158 people would have been in those lifeboats and could have been saved.

My estimation is that 706 people were saved and that is a loss of 472, which could have been saved by more awareness and more thinking.
